The practitioner shall provide treatment and work within the scope bound by their training, and to practice within the bounds of their states or provincial legislation.

Shall respect and promote client autonomy when providing care and treatment.

Inform the client of the type and treatment, information prior to treatment, what to expect from treatment, the fees related to the treatment, duration, benefits, indication, and contraindication.

Provide treatment in a clean and safe environment, practice the necessary precaution such as universal precaution when providing treatment. Ensure that you have the necessary vaccines such as Hepatitis B,TB Mantoux skin test, and have Standard First aid CPR Training.

Not to provide service while ability to practice is impaired emotionally or physically

Ensure client confidentiality when providing treatment, record keeping, and ensuring comfort and privacy of the client during treatment.

Represent with honesty the benefits and limitation of the product offered services and products.

Recommend that the client seek the appropriate qualified health professional when the practitioner recognized a client condition requires further assessment or treatment by a physician.

Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and refrain from initiating or engaging in any sexual activity, socializing, or any activity that may jeopardize the professional relationship.

Represent qualification honestly, including educational achievements and professional affiliation.

Provide all services and treatments safely and competently.

Remain current in your profession that is keeping up with the trends and skills in the spa industry, natural health, and holistic health industry by attending educational courses, seminars, and workshop or courses.

My license as a LHHP-and privileges as a licensed holistic health practitioner can be revoked if in breech of the code of ethics and guiding principles as a Licensed Holistic Health Practitioner with NAHHP. That include using the NAHHP license to obtained a license holistic health practitioner license with your city to provide treatment other that what it was approved for. Using your LHHP license to train other practitioners for a program that was not accredited with NAHHP, Using your LHHP membership certificate as accredited certificate to mislead the public that your program or services is accredited through NAHHP. Providing treatment that was not recognized, and approved by NAHHP and under the guise of being certified by NAHHP. Providing a medical aesthetic treatment procedure that is outside your scope of practice, when you are not a member of a regulated college such as the College of nurses or the College of physicians in Canada.
